5 Ways To Develop Your Discipleship Heart

In order to own that discipleship heart, we must make sure that we are working towards growing it every day. Below are the lists that will help you grow, then, daily applied it.

1) Deepen your connection with God

We can’t be the disciple of our father in heaven when we don’t grow deeper in Jesus Christ and we don’t have that personal connection with Him. When we’re looking at His 12 disciples, we can see that each one of them had a personal and an intimate relationship with Him.

With the tales of Jesus’ living on earth that had been contained within the gospel, we see His connections with His disciples. Jesus taught them, was intended by them, pay attention to their troubles, they are working together as one, then, gave them the authority to preach His word.

We cannot get from this life through using our personal strength, so we should make sure that we struggle everyday to have a connection with Christ to rely alone on His strength.

You may work towards deepening the connection you have daily with Christ through setting aside intended quiet moments with Him.

The quiet time may appear differently for everybody and may be an intentional prayer time, worshiping and reading the Bible. Whatever it looks, it is important that you use your talking to Him and inviting God to your everyday life.

2) Meditate on God’s Word

Just in order to survive the life that’s a reflection of Jesus, it is very important that we comprehend His word and also the life that God lived while He was on Earth. We may do this through meditating on God’s word every day to have a deepened understanding of it.

As an outcome, faith comes from perceiving the message, and also the message has been heard of the word about Jesus.

3) Giving time to Pray

Prayer helps us in bringing Jesus into whatever we’re going through and assists us to surrender the everyday lives. Part of becoming a disciple will be set free all of our control of the Lord God through placing our life in His hands.

Prayers are not just imperative to do with us, but to do it with others that we are living our life with. We must take prayer to jobs, grocery store, schools, churches, and inside our homes. Making Jesus Christ a part of everyday living is important and prayer permits us to do this. Don’t be anxious with almost anything, but in each situation, by petition, and prayer, with thanksgiving, present the personal requests to God.

4) Developing love for everybody

Despite of how much we desire to believe that we can love everyone that is around us, everyone has that single person that’s a bit hard for us to adore. Though everyone struggled with this, we need to understand that God had placed us in these people’s lives for a cause, and us not responding to love them, is a bad sign of Christ.

Developing our love for everybody can assist us to embody being the good disciple of Jesus Christ because of what we learn in the discipleship lessons and because it can assist us to reflect on what He did when Jesus was still on Earth. He adored the sick, sinners, tax collectors and the demon-possessed.

Jesus loves every one of His children, and when we don’t, we're saying that Jesus sacrifices were not worthy enough yet for that individual when we don’t have the right. Although this may appear a little bit harsh, it’s the reality about what our actions state when we don’t love our sisters and brothers as commanded by God.

To nurture in this area to spend time asking the Lord God to guide you grow your love so deep for others that it can’t be broken. Pray to have like eyes on him, so you can see people in the manner God sees. Spend time intentionally looking out the people that you struggled with loving so you can be the reflection of Jesus love for them.

Anyone will need to talk with time to process, to forgive people in their lives who have hurt them. Remember, forgiving doesn’t signify that what they performed was right. It only means you’re freeing yourself from pain and hurt that they caused you.

5) Practice Discipleship Daily

What is the best way to grow with something than really apply it to your everyday life? In order to attain the discipleship heart, you need to everyday work towards it and intentional in making so.

Each day that you wake up, you ask yourself how you will grow God’s kingdom now. Then, struggle towards doing it daily. Although this will appear like one complicated duty it does not need to be.

You will increase, which step to take every day, and then realize that acquiring a disciple heart is a procedure that you can spend doing through the remaining time of your life.

Everybody should take part in God’s task in partnership with the Lord , with the agencies and the partner churches from around the world and with our hurting world. Shifting beyond the ingrained paternalistic outline to equal 2-way missions and the authentic partnership is the challenge before us. Six essential mission attitudes on pathway to partnership of basic discipleship: 1. Humility - the mission now should start with the recognition, the repentance and the abandonment of the attitudes of pride, condescension, superiority and arrogance. Humility entailed the openness to take, to learn from & to be corrected by others. 2. Compassion - when we give money, feed the hungry, build churches, preach the gospel an...
